Lamborghini rich kid, 21, shows off overturned parking fines after dodging them with legal loophole
A
Lamborghini driver who racked up multiple parking tickets has had them
overturned thanks to some obscure legal technicalities – and has been
showing off the cancelled tickets on the dashboard of his supercar.
Ash
White, the 22-year-old jeanswear mogul whose bright orange
Lamborghini is often spotted around Cheltenham, received six parking
fines for parking outside the town hall in a space reserved for the
Mayor.
“I
don’t mind paying up, the tickets don’t bother me,” White said earlier
this year, before parking expert Nigel Wise helped him weasel his way
out of them.

Bin Laden's son denied entry to Egypt

CAIRO
(Reuters) - Osama bin Laden's son Omar was refused entry to Egypt on
Saturday, airport sources said, giving no reason why his name was on a
list of people banned from the country.
Omar,
34, Osama bin Laden's fourth-eldest son, was travelling with his
British wife Zaina al Sabah from Doha, and they asked to be sent to
Turkey, the sources said.
The couple, who lived in Egypt for several months in 2007 and 2008, were previously denied entry to the country in 2008.
Omar bin Laden broke with his father in 2001 after living in Afghanistan for much of 1996 to 2001.
In
an interview with Reuters in 2010, Omar said he was working with Saudi
Arabia and Iran to end his separation from a group of brothers and
sisters that dates back to the chaos in Afghanistan following the al
Qaeda attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.
Omar
said bin Laden's children were trying to be "good citizens of the
world" but suffered from the lack of a father and the stigma of being
the al Qaeda leader's children. None were part of al Qaeda, he said at
the time.
"We
are working with the Iranian government and with the Saudi government
at the moment to have my mother's children and grandchildren join us,"
he said.
Osama
bin Laden was killed at his Pakistani hideout by U.S. commandos in 2011
in a major blow to the militant group which carried out the Sept. 11
attacks.

Louis Tomlinson partner Briana Jungwirth trolled after 'insensitive' Instagram post
Louis
Tomlinson's partner Briana Junwirth incurred the wrath of internet
trolls on Sunday after posting a picture of herself laughing following
the ex-1 Direction member's debut solo performance on The X Factor. Fans
of the singer were apparently disappointed by the tweet, which came two
days after it was announced Tomlinson's mother Johannah Deakin had lost
her battle against Leukaemia.
Deakin,
42, was reported to have died on Wednesday (7 December) after fighting
an aggressive form of Leukaemia. It was confirmed by her husband, Dan
Deakin on Friday, in a statement: "It is with immeasurable sadness that
Johannah Deakin's family said goodbye to Johannah in the early hours of
Wednesday 7th December 2016.
"Earlier
this year Johannah was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of
leukaemia that required immediate and continuous treatment."
Despite
the devastating loss, 24-year-old Tomlinson decided to go ahead with
his scheduled performance alongside DJ Steve Aoeki on the X Factor final
on Saturday night. After the performance, Tomlinson was praised by X
Factor judge and 1 Direction manager Simon Cowell who said: "I've known
you now for six years. For what you have just done and the bravery you
have just shown, I respect you as an artist and as a person."
Cowell added: "Your mum was so proud of you and she is looking down on you tonight and you have done her proud."
Leading
tributes to Tomlinson, Jungwirth tweeted: "That performance was so
brave and beautiful. We are all so proud of you @Louis_Tomlinson."
She
added, referring to the baby she has with Tomlinson: "Imagine Freddie
watching his dad's performance and exhibit pure bravery and strength."
Earlier
in the week, Jungwirth shared a statement on her social media accounts
paying tribute to Deakin, in which she said: "I aspired to be just like
you in a mother to Freddie."
Though
fans praised Jungwirth's heartfelt post, they quickly turned after she
shared a picture of herself in the early hours of Sunday morning in
which, with her hands clasped over her mouth, she appears to be
giggling.
One
fan pointed out what they perceived to be an inappropriate post during
Louis' time of grief, saying: "Posting irrelevant sh** when the father
of your child just lost a loved one. okay!".
Another demanded to know: "What do you think about Johanna is dead???@brianaashleyjungwirth"
Though
fortunately for Jungwirth, many of Louis' other fans were on hand to
defend her. One pointed out: "she's wearing black which could mean she's
mourning." Another pointed out that she might not in fact be smiling,
since you couldn't see her mouth.
Meanwhile a string of other Instagram users urged her not to listen to any negativity and mourn in her own way.
Manchester man fights for life after lick from pet dog leaves him covered in tennis-ball sized blisters
A
man was left fighting for his life after he caught a deadly infection
from his pet dog licking him. David Money, 51, from Manchester, spent
six weeks in a coma with red tennis-ball-sized blisters covering his
body after he caught the bug.
Doctors fought to keep him alive for five months after bacteria lurking in the dog's mouth entered an open wound.
The
infection destroyed both Money's kidneys – leaving him requiring
dialysis every day – but the HGV driver and former soldier somehow
survived.
And despite his scrape with death, Money, who has seven whippets, maintained his love of dogs.
He said: "I'm disabled, I can barely walk, I've lost my job and I nearly died," reported SWNS.
"My life has been completely turned upside down and to think it's from a bacteria from a dog is a mind-blowing thing.
"The pain I went through was indescribable. To actually sweat with pain is absolutely horrendous.
"We are far more aware of the dogs now but I would never get rid of my dogs.
"I can't believe what has happened to me, but I cherish them."
Money first started experiencing symptoms in April and was about to go to sleep when he felt extreme pain in his legs.
His
partner, Julie Crosby, 44, took him to hospital where medics diagnosed
the infection as capnocytophaga – a rare bug found in the mouth and
saliva of dogs.
Hours
after being admitted, Crosby was told Money's chances of survival would
be best if he was put into a coma. She was told to say her "final
goodbyes" in case he did not survive.
"It was so shocking how quickly things happened," Crosby said.
"They
didn't think he was going to make it through the night. He told me he
loved me and I said the same and we said our goodbyes.
"He was gasping for breath and had this face mask on. It was devastating."
Six weeks after being in the coma, doctors stabilised the infection, but not before Money lost a toe and two kidneys.
He
was released from hospital in September and has applied to go on the
transplant list next year. Crosby is planning to volunteer as an organ
donor to see if she is a suitable match.
Why do dogs lick wounds?
Wound-licking is an instinctive response in dogs – as well as many animals including cats – to attempt healing.
Their saliva contains enzymes and proteins which kill certain bacteria
and promote blood-clotting mechanisms. However, letting your pets lick
your wounds is not advisable as there are just as many, if not more,
harmful side-effects that can result.

Two men 'accidentally kill their friend' for snoring too loudly
A 35-year-old man died in Seine-Saint Denis area of Paris France last weekend after two friends played a prank on him that backfired with fatal consequences.
The
unnamed victim had been drinking with friends in an apartment in the
Seine-Saint Denis area of Paris when he fell unconscious after consuming
too much alcohol.
A judicial source told AFP: ‘The victim, who had drunk more than the others, suddenly fell into a deep and unconscious sleep.’
After
falling asleep, the friends then stripped the man and drew on his face
with a pen – claiming that it was an attempt to stop him from driving
home if he woke up while inebriated.
But
while two men later left the apartment, the other two became aggravated
by their friend’s snoring and carried him outside – leaving him to
sleep in the courtyard of the apartment block.
He was found dead the following morning, and it’s now believed that temperatures in the local area were as low as 3C overnight.
The two men who allegedly carried their friend outside are now facing manslaughter charges.- Nick Reilly

Lady Gaga Wore Sheer Lace in One of Many Revealing Looks at the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show
Lady Gaga managed to stand out from the crowd in the black lace, semi-sheer gown she wore on the pink carpet Wednesday in Paris at the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She tied her hair back into a sleek low bun, not taking any attention away from the dress that emphasized her svelte figure. The gown hinted at nudity beneath but appeared to have a slip of skin-colored fabric that hugged every curve.
For her first performance, the singer channeled a look seemingly inspired by Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Evita, on the runway in a long-sleeve rose-patterned gown and platform black booties during a powerful performance of her hit single “Million Reasons.”

LaLiga: I hate you! Cristiano Ronaldo reveals Antoine Griezmann exchange
Real
Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has revealed that Atletico Madrid
hero Antoine Griezmann told him 'Cristiano, I hate you' directly to his
face after a chance encounter at a Miami restaurant during the summer,
although it's not quite what you think.
Griezmann
finished on the losing side to Ronaldo in major finals twice in the
space of two months after first suffering the pain of defeat in the
Champions League with Atletico and then again at Euro 2016 with France,
but his comment was in jest and there's no bad blood
"It's
funny, because shortly after the (Euro) final, on vacation in Miami, I
met Antoine Griezmann in a restaurant where he was dining with his
fiancée," Ronaldo explained in an interview with France Football.
"He came to see me at my table and said with a smile, 'Cristiano, I hate you!'
Griezmann
enjoyed the best season of his career in 2015/16, scoring 32 times for
Atletico in all competitions. He played well in the Champions League
final but missed from the penalty spot during normal time before Real
went on to win in the penalty shootout.
"He's my neighbour in Madrid, and last season he played very well and lost both times, but he's a nice guy," Ronaldo commented.
The
Portuguese scored the winning spot kick for Real in the Champions
League, but he was relegated to the role of spectator at the Euros two
months later after an early injury prematurely ended his participation
in the final.
"I
returned to the dressing room for the team doctor to do a quick
diagnosis on me. I was crying because I feared it even more serious. The
doctor quickly reassured me, but I continued to cry," he said.
Ronaldo later returned to the side of the pitch to will his team-mates to victory.

Man Dissolved in Acidic Water After Trying to Soak in Yellowstone National Park Hot Pool
He and his sister were trying to "hot pot," or soak in the water
An Oregon man who died in a Yellowstone National Park hot spring and dissolved when he fell into the boiling, acidic water, was looking to soak in the water, park officials said in a report.
The report, which followed a Freedom of Information Act request from KULR,
found that Colin Scott, 23, was looking for a place to “hot pot,” or
soak in the streaming waters—a practice forbidden by the park—with his
sister in June. He “was reaching down to check the temperature of a hot
spring when he slipped and fell into the pool,” the report said, quoting
his sister Sable Scott.
Search and rescue rangers who looked for Scott found his body in the
pool, along with his wallet and flip flops, but their recovery efforts
were thwarted by a lightning storm. The next day, they could not find
any remains because of the acidic water quality.
“In a very short order, there was a significant amount of dissolving,” Deputy Chief Ranger Lorant Veress told KULR.

British woman arrested in Dubai after reporting rape
A British woman who told police in Dubai she had been raped has reportedly been charged with having extra-marital sex.
The woman in her 20s was allegedly attacked by two men from Birmingham while on holiday in the United Arab Emirates.
When
she reported the incident, police arrested her and confiscated her
passport, according to UAE law experts Detained in Dubai.
The woman has since been bailed but could face jail if found guilty at trial.
Radha Stirling, from the Detained in Dubai group, said the emirate's treatment of rape victims was "tremendously disturbing".
She said: "The UAE has a long history of penalising rape victims.
"It is still not safe for victims to report these crimes to the police without the risk of suffering a double punishment.
"Police
regularly fail to differentiate between consensual intercourse and
violent rape. Victims go to them expecting justice, and end up being
prosecuted.
"They not only invalidate their victimisation, they actually punish them for it."
A
Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We are supporting a British woman in
relation to this case and will remain in contact with her family."

Most are driving without road tax’ in TRNC
SIX out of 10 motorists are driving without paying their road tax, an MP has claimed.
Social Democracy Party Gazi Magusa MP Huseyin Angolemli made the startling revelation during a debate in Parliament on transport spending.
The veteran politician said vehicle owners “could not be expected to pay” the tax for roads that were “full of potholes”.
He was one of several MPs to lament the “poor state” of the country’s roads network as they debated the 106-million-TL transport budget.
Others called for stricter EU-style driving tests as well as reflectors to increase the visibility of barriers on unlit sections of the Lefkosa-Guzelyurt dual carriageways, which they labelled a “death-trap”.
Transport Minister Tahsin Ertugruloglu called for the High-ways Department to carry out “daily test drives” to identify problem areas and added that an integrated CCTV crime and traffic tracking system, known in Turkish as “Mobese”, would be beefed up.
He promised to “put his foot down” over poorly planned side roads junctions, labelling an exit road from the Lavinium site onto Girne-Lefkosa dual carriageway “a joke”.
Driving licensing centres in Guzelyurt, Gazi Magusa and Girne will be modernised within 90 days at a total coast of 148,000TL.
The 2016 transport budget also envisages greater traffic safety education for primary and secondary school children.
Mr Ertugruloglu promised a “zero tolerance” approach to roadside advertising: “If these signs are on the right, the left, or in the forest, they are visually polluting and blocking drivers’ views. The will be removed.”
The minister also admitted that “New Jersey” concrete barriers designed to prevent vehicles crossing over into opposite lanes had been badly installed.
“There are views for ad against New Jersey barriers. Our mistake was not to have installed them as separate blocks, which can be replaced when necessary,” he said.
He also promised solar-powered street lighting on urban roads and added that a clover leaf junction would replace the Gonyeli roundabout, while over and underpasses were needed at the Haspolat and Hamitkoy junctions. A tender for an electronic lorry weighing station has also been issued, he said. Responding, former transport minister Hasan Tacoy said: “We have almost 100 speed cameras, a number which I hope will not increase, and three ‘point-to-point’ average speed check cameras.
“We must ease traffic by sorting out the Gonyeli and Haspolat junctions and put a stop to overload lorries.”
The Traffic Commission has called for new plans on public transport, which Mr Ertugruloglu deemed to be in “total chaos”.

George Charamba should respect women
George Charamba, Mugabe’s Spokesperson who hides behind an effigy called Nathaniel Manheru, did not only attack Dr Joice Mujuru, the politician and leader of Zimbabwe People First in the instalment, but all the women in the country when he chose to base his attacks on what Mujuru was wearing and what he imagined about her anatomy beyond what was visible.
Charamba chose to ignore the political symbolism that Dr Mujuru’s gesture to Guy Watson Smith brings to the issue of the land reform and geopolitics but had presence of mind to fix penetrative eyes beyond Dr Mujuru’s skirt.
On a day Donald Trump reached a new low in his denigration of women in the American election campaign, one would certainly have thought Charamba knew pretty well the bigoted nature of his analysis of Mujuru’s meeting with Watson Smith was infuriating to decent and right-thinking Zimbabweans.
Charamba, in his Manheru instalment, comes across; not only as a misogynist, uncouth and sex-obsessed bloke but as a spoilt brat whose perchance for ribaldry is alarming.
Rather than dwell on his equally misplaced belief that paying compensation to former commercial farmers was reversing the land reform exercise, Manheru hit a new low, choosing to imagine what could have been beyond the skirt Mai Mujuru was wearing.
When Charamba says “Joice has ungainly revealed her bearded political innards too much ahead of 2018”, before telling her “to sit like a woman” you sense you are listening to a pervert with a rapist mentality and the kind of reckless sexual disposition that might, as well, explain the calamities that have befallen him lately, which had him cut short a visit to Japan.
But Charamba is not just a pervert; he is also a modern day Lakunle, Wole Soyinka’s caricature of an African intellectual fond of showing off the number of books he has read and the long list of verbose statements he has mastered which do not go beyond the catalogue of books at his disposal.
Take him away from the books, from reciting Amilcar Cabral, Basil Davidson, and others, the man is virtually empty. That is the reason he can never understand the world we live in today does not allow for the kind of bigotry and misogyny he so blatantly exhibits at the slightest provocation.
I have watched Charamba in my short life and the numerous occasions I have conversed with him, I discovered a deep sense of insecurity, an inferiority complex that he hides behind contrived public show of grandeur, fame by proximity to President Mugabe and an exaggerated intellectualism that makes him believe all those without university degrees among us are “rural idiots”.
He, rather naively, thinks university degrees, equal wisdom when, in fact, there are more stupid professors than wise ones. That is the reason why, in the bible, for those of us who believe in it, there is no mention of a degree in the same line with wisdom.
There are a lot of extremely wise people who cannot speak one English word, have never been to a university in just the same way as we have hordes of professors and Master’s degree holders like Charamba who are wallowing in sublime idiocy.
We have degreed but certified lunatics like Charamba who do not know what to say, when and where? People who think since they control state media, they can write obscenities because their reprobate minds command them thus. That is George “Manheru” Charamba for you, a man personifying some real darkness, a clear indication of the absence of light (knowledge) as suggested by his nome deplume.
In a typically unwise move Charamba chose to engage his mouths (pen) even when he didn’t have full facts on events at the meeting between Dr Mujuru and Guy Watson Smith, the former owner of her Ruzambu farm in Beatrice.

1.2million TL worth of Gold stolen in Lefkosia shops this week!
Three masked men helped themselves to some 900,000TL of stock from Assos Galleria Mall, at 3.40am on Thursday, grabbing items from the windows display as a security company allegedly failed to raise the alarm for 40 minutes.
Police believe the same trio targeted the Taskinkoy branch of Erdinc Jewellers at 4.12am on Sunday.
The break-in set odd a police station linked alarm, bringing local residents on to the street and police on to the scene within five minutes. But the raiders had already snatched 300,000TL worth of jewellery from the display.
In both Cases, a hammer or heavy instrument was used to smash the windows.
They were caught on security camera and it also captured the car, so we are confident that the police would eventually catch up with them soonest.

Lady Gaga on "Perfect Illusion".....
“Trying to keep control / pressure’s taking its toll,” Lady Gaga belts on her new single, “Perfect Illusion.” She’s talking about a bad romance—“It wasn’t lo-oo-oo-ove, it was a perfect ill-ooh-sion” goes the chorus—but you might wonder if those words also describe her headspace going into her fifth album. Following 2013’s polarizing ARTPOP and a subsequent jazz rebound with Tony Bennett, can Gaga reclaim the dance-pop crown she earned with modern classics like The Fame Monster?
That may be the question on everyone’s mind, but it doesn’t sound like it’s on Gaga’s. This time, she skips the flashy synths and club beats for a streamlined, rock-n-roll banger made with an unlikely team of Mark Ronson (“Uptown Funk!”), BloodPop (Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”), and Kevin Parker (of the psych-rock outfit Tame Impala).
The four of them waste no time getting to the goods. It takes only 30 seconds for the chorus to arrive, which on paper is great news—Gaga has written some truly epic sing-alongs in recent years, from hits like “Bad Romance” and “Born This Way” to ballads like “Speechless.” Here, though, the “Poker Face” singer gives away her hand too early. The quick, repetitive hook doesn’t achieve the desired liftoff, building toward a climax that doesn’t come; even with a disco-flavored key change near the end, the song hits its peak just as it’s getting started.

Carly Rae Jepsen fresh again!
When Carly Rae Jepsen released E·MO·TION in 2015, it was a commercial flop. The album sold just over 16,000 units in its first week, and peaked at No. 16 on the charts. But it was by no means an artistic disaster—in fact, it was the best pop album of the year, and while it never matched the viral success of her 2012 breakout single “Call Me Maybe,” it cemented Jepsen as a beloved cult artist on par with dance-floor divas like Roisin Murphy, Robyn, and Peaches—they’ll never be Katys or Taylors, sure, but they’re easily the coolest girls in the room.
One year since that release, Jepsen is embracing her newfound cult status, not hiding from it. And she’s celebrating with an album of B-sides from the E·MO·TION sessions. It’s a succinct package, brimming with more infectious tales about broken hearts, getting friend zoned, and male crushes who are always out of reach, especially on songs like “Cry,” where Jepsen pines for a guy who “never wants to kiss and close his eyes.” Much like on E·MO·TION, 30-year-old Jepsen perfectly plays the part of a love-lorn high-schooler—as if she’s reprising the role of Molly Ringwald’s Sam Baker in Sixteen Candles.
Jepsen’s music on Side B could similarly soundtrack that John Hughes movie. Working with Greg Kurstin, Dev Hynes, and “Call Me Maybe” scribe Tavish Crowe, Jepsen crafts tunes full of warm synths, 808 grooves, and chintzy MIDI brass hooks. On “Fever,” her voice crackles when she whispers confessions of stealing an unrequited lover’s bike, and then on “Higher,” it swells into a stomping chorus, highlighted by backup singers’ hearty “woah-woah-woahs” and the most risqué line on the record: “Your love turns me on.”

Dolly Parton's "Pure and Simple"
Forty-nine years into a recording career that has earned her eight Grammys and an induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Dolly Parton doesn’t have much left to prove. So on her 43rd studio LP, the 70-year-old sticks to a tried-and-true musical path: Pure + Simple finds Parton returning to her roots with 10 stellar, stripped-down love songs.
Parton has said in interviews that she was inspired by a recent personal milestone: her 50th wedding anniversary with husband Carl Dean. And fittingly for someone whose endured a half-century relationship, Pure + Simple explores many facets of relationships: new romance (“I’m Sixteen”), scandalous affairs (“Can’t Be That Wrong”), forgiveness (“Tomorrow Is Forever”), passionate nights (“Head Over High Heels”), and, of course, everlasting love (“Say Forever You’ll Be Mine”).
Occasionally the album feels like it might be on the verge of wading too far into sappy Hallmark Card territory—like on the hymn-like album closer “Forever Love,” where Parton sings, “No other arms come to mind when you hold me/As if heaven knew that for you I was made.” But those moments are rare, and the album is saved by by Parton’s self-assured soprano, which has lost none of its girlish charm.
Sure, Pure + Simple doesn’t have an instant classic like Parton’s 1973 standard “I Will Always Love You.” But it shows that five decades into her career, Parton isn’t a nostalgia act—she’s still one of America’s most vital country songsmiths.
