1.2million TL worth of Gold stolen in Lefkosia shops this week!

A gang of jewel thieves are believed to be behind two smashed and grabs on Lefkosia shops this week in which an estimated 1.2 million TL in gold, diamonds and precious stones were stolen.

Three masked men helped themselves to some 900,000TL of stock from Assos Galleria Mall, at 3.40am on Thursday, grabbing items from the windows display as a security company allegedly failed to raise the alarm for 40 minutes.
Police believe the same trio targeted the Taskinkoy branch of Erdinc Jewellers at 4.12am on Sunday.
The break-in set odd a police station linked alarm, bringing local residents on to the street and police on to the scene within five minutes. But the raiders had already snatched 300,000TL worth of jewellery from the display.
In both Cases,  a hammer or heavy instrument was used to smash the windows.
They were caught on security camera and it also captured the car, so we are confident that the police would eventually catch up with them soonest.

Lady Gaga on "Perfect Illusion".....

“Trying to keep control / pressure’s taking its toll,” Lady Gaga belts on her new single, “Perfect Illusion.” She’s talking about a bad romance—“It wasn’t lo-oo-oo-ove, it was a perfect ill-ooh-sion” goes the chorus—but you might wonder if those words also describe her headspace going into her fifth album. Following 2013’s polarizing ARTPOP and a subsequent jazz rebound with Tony Bennett, can Gaga reclaim the dance-pop crown she earned with modern classics like The Fame Monster?

That may be the question on everyone’s mind, but it doesn’t sound like it’s on Gaga’s. This time, she skips the flashy synths and club beats for a streamlined, rock-n-roll banger made with an unlikely team of Mark Ronson (“Uptown Funk!”), BloodPop (Justin Bieber’s “Sorry”), and Kevin Parker (of the psych-rock outfit Tame Impala).

The four of them waste no time getting to the goods. It takes only 30 seconds for the chorus to arrive, which on paper is great news—Gaga has written some truly epic sing-alongs in recent years, from hits like “Bad Romance” and “Born This Way” to ballads like “Speechless.” Here, though, the “Poker Face” singer gives away her hand too early. The quick, repetitive hook doesn’t achieve the desired liftoff, building toward a climax that doesn’t come; even with a disco-flavored key change near the end, the song hits its peak just as it’s getting started.

Carly Rae Jepsen fresh again!

When Carly Rae Jepsen released E·MO·TION in 2015, it was a commercial flop. The album sold just over 16,000 units in its first week, and peaked at No. 16 on the charts. But it was by no means an artistic disaster—in fact, it was the best pop album of the year, and while it never matched the viral success of her 2012 breakout single “Call Me Maybe,” it cemented Jepsen as a beloved cult artist on par with dance-floor divas like Roisin Murphy, Robyn, and Peaches—they’ll never be Katys or Taylors, sure, but they’re easily the coolest girls in the room.

One year since that release, Jepsen is embracing her newfound cult status, not hiding from it. And she’s celebrating with an album of B-sides from the E·MO·TION sessions. It’s a succinct package, brimming with more infectious tales about broken hearts, getting friend zoned, and male crushes who are always out of reach, especially on songs like “Cry,” where Jepsen pines for a guy who “never wants to kiss and close his eyes.” Much like on E·MO·TION, 30-year-old Jepsen perfectly plays the part of a love-lorn high-schooler—as if she’s reprising the role of Molly Ringwald’s Sam Baker in Sixteen Candles.

Jepsen’s music on Side B could similarly soundtrack that John Hughes movie. Working with Greg Kurstin, Dev Hynes, and “Call Me Maybe” scribe Tavish Crowe, Jepsen crafts tunes full of warm synths, 808 grooves, and chintzy MIDI brass hooks. On “Fever,” her voice crackles when she whispers confessions of stealing an unrequited lover’s bike, and then on “Higher,” it swells into a stomping chorus, highlighted by backup singers’ hearty “woah-woah-woahs” and the most risqué line on the record: “Your love turns me on.”

Dolly Parton's "Pure and Simple"

Forty-nine years into a recording career that has earned her eight Grammys and an induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame, Dolly Parton doesn’t have much left to prove. So on her 43rd studio LP, the 70-year-old sticks to a tried-and-true musical path: Pure + Simple finds Parton returning to her roots with 10 stellar, stripped-down love songs.

Parton has said in interviews that she was inspired by a recent personal milestone: her 50th wedding anniversary with husband Carl Dean. And fittingly for someone whose endured a half-century relationship, Pure + Simple explores many facets of relationships: new romance (“I’m Sixteen”), scandalous affairs (“Can’t Be That Wrong”), forgiveness (“Tomorrow Is Forever”), passionate nights (“Head Over High Heels”), and, of course, everlasting love (“Say Forever You’ll Be Mine”).

Occasionally the album feels like it might be on the verge of wading too far into sappy Hallmark Card territory—like on the hymn-like album closer “Forever Love,” where Parton sings, “No other arms come to mind when you hold me/As if heaven knew that for you I was made.” But those moments are rare, and the album is saved by by Parton’s self-assured soprano, which has lost none of its girlish charm.

Sure, Pure + Simple doesn’t have an instant classic like Parton’s 1973 standard “I Will Always Love You.” But it shows that five decades into her career, Parton isn’t a nostalgia act—she’s still one of America’s most vital country songsmiths.

J'Lopez performs in Adele's concert: Awesome!

Turns out, J. Lo is an Adele stan just like the rest of us. Jennifer Lopez attended the “Hello” singer’s concert in Los Angeles on Tuesday night, and couldn’t help but sing along from the crowd.

In a video posted by vocal coach Stevie Mackie, who’s been working with Lopez on her Las Vegas residency, Lopez belts out the chorus to Adele’s hit “Rolling in the Deep.” After the brief shot, Lopez puts her hand up and turns her attention back to the stage.

Who could blame Lopez for fanning out — Adele’s 25 tour has proven itself to be a host of hilarious and heat-warming moments since it kicked off at the start of the year. Most recently, she has invited not one, but two Adele drag impersonators to join her on stage, and even planted a kiss on a fan.

Season 8: Game of Thrones confirmed as the last by ......

The end of Game of Thrones is coming.

HBO's programming president Casey Bloys confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that the hit fantasy series would end after season 8.

The news may not come as a huge surprise to GOT fans as showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss had previously stated that they wanted the series to end after its eight season.

"Yes, they have a very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do," Bloys said at the Television Critics Association's press tour in Beverly Hills on Saturday. "Believe me, as the new [programming executive] coming in, if I could get them to do more. I would take 10 more seasons. But we take their lead on what they think they can do the best version of the show."

However, while Benioff and Weiss had previously said the eight season would only consist of six episodes, Bloys said the exact number of episodes in the final season has not yet been determined.

Read what West thinks about Jayz's Tidal and Apple deal!!

While Apple figures out what it wants to do regarding Tidal, Kanye West threw in his two cents: “Let the kids have the music.”
Word got out at the end of June that Apple was in early talks to purchase Tidal, Jay Z’s music streaming service. Developments on that front have remained a mystery, but West took to Twitter Saturday to suggest both parties should stop dragging their feet.
“This Tidal Apple beef is f–king up the music game,” the rapper began, adding he wants “on the phone or in a room this week” with Apple CEO Tim Cook, Jay Z, and others including, presumably, Apple Music executive and music producer Jimmy Iovine, Drake (the rapper serves as a spokeperson of sorts for Apple Music), and music manager Scooter Braun.

“F–k all this d–k swinging contest. We all gon be dead in 100 Years. Let the kids have the music,” West continued in a separate tweet before advising the Tim Cook-led Apple to “give Jay his check for Tidal now and stop trying to act like you Steve [Jobs].”

This Tidal Apple beef is fucking up the music game.

Blake Shelton denies working with Donald Trump.

Blake Shelton hasn’t officially endorsed a presidential candidate, but after comments he made in a recent interview with Billboard suggested that the country star was in favor of Donald Trump, he took to Twitter to refute the sentiment: “Hey before this gets going like it always does… I haven’t [endorsed] ANYBODY for president. And I not going to. I don’t do that [s—],” he tweeted.

Shelton had originally told the magazine, “I’m not going to have the political conversation with you about Trump, or about Hillary Clinton. But I will tell you this: Whether you love him or hate him, he says what he thinks, and he has proven that you don’t always have to be so afraid. A lot of people are pulling for him, no matter how much Hollywood fights it. I see people who don’t like him go and beat up people that do like him. You tell me, who’s crazy here?” He added, “I probably wish there was another option, but there’s not.”

In his response he continued, “My comment about ‘wish there was another option but there’s not’ is across the board…period. Now go dig up another story.”

Shelton’s entire string of tweets is embedded below.

James Corden new moves!

James Corden has proven he can sing in movies and in a car, but on Friday night, he showed off his musical ability live in concert.

The late night host joined Meghan Trainor on stage during the Los Angeles stop of her Untouchable Tour. Corden, who most recently showed off his rap skills with Michelle Obama and Missy Elliott, stepped in for John Legend on Trainor’s hit, “Like I’m Gonna Lose You.”

Filling in for the 10-time Grammy Award-winning Legend is no easy task, but Corden didn’t miss a beat with his surprise performance. This wasn’t the first time the two joined musical forces, as earlier this year on The Late Late Show the duo made a New Year’s resolution music video called “All About That Change.”

NSYNC’S fresh start!

Boy band fans got a fun surprise Saturday when *NSYNC member Joey Fatone joined 98 Degrees onstage at the West Palm Beach stop of the band’s My2K Tour for a rendition of *NSYNC’s iconic 2000 song “Bye Bye Bye.”

The performance featured both the original “Bye Bye Bye” choreography and matching outfits, à la the early 2000s — in other words, it was a big day for boy bands covering other boy bands.

Fatone recently collaborated with 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons in Dead 7, a Syfy film that also starred the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, and A.J. McLean, along with *NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick and the entirety of O-Town (save for Ashley Parker Angel, who is no longer with the band).

The My2K Tour also features O-Town, Dream, and Ryan Cabrera. Watch a clip of the performance below.

Alicia Keys new stand!

Alicia Keys enlisted 24 of America’s most high-profile celebrities for a powerful video condemning police brutality.

Beyoncé, Rihanna, Chris Rock, and Pharrell Williams are just a handful of the famous faces that appear in the clip. As images of black lives lost to recent police shootings flash on screen, the A-list collective rattles off “23 ways you could be killed if you are black in America,” listing everything from “wearing a hoodie” to “failing to signal a lane change.”

“In other words, just for being black and doing absolutely nothing,” the video’s text reads. Keys closes the clip with a plea for change: “We demand radical transformation to heal the long history of systemic racism so that all Americans have the equal right to live and to pursue happiness.”

The video comes on the heels of two recent officer-involved deaths. Both Philando Castile and Alton Sterling were shot and killed by police last week, sparking nationwide outrage. Dozens of stars, including many of those featured in the video, have since denounced the deaths, and multiple members of the music community have shared protest songs.

Britney Spears new song in the pipeline!

New Britney Spears music is closer than ever. The pop singer posted a snippet from an ad for her new fragrance “Private Show” on Monday, featuring Spears performing part of a new song.

The short video shows Spears dancing in a backstage walkway and on a spotlit stage in black lingerie. Towards the end of the clip, a quick track is played featuring Spears singing the fragrance’s name. “Private Show,” the fragrance, was released on Friday.

Spears has been teasing her comeback to putting out new music several times over the past few months, using her Instagram account to post some mysterious videos. In November, the pop star confirmed that she is working on her ninth studio album, which would follow up 2013’s Britney Jean. Recently, Spears was honored at the Billboard Music Awards, where she performed a medley of her grea
