Yahoo Celebrity has an exclusive first look at Clooney’s new ad, which reunites the 55-year-old actor with Ocean’s Eleven co-star Andy Garcia. The new spot, set to Mel Torme’s classic “Comin’ Home Baby,” shows just how far the U.S. brand ambassador for Nespresso will go for the perfect cup of coffee.

After Garcia calls Clooney — who is at work on a rainy film set — from his home in the Hollywood Hills on a gorgeous sunny morning, Amal’s hubby decides to head back and join his friend in La La Land. Clooney finds himself in a montage of iconic movie travel scenes from The Muppet Movie, Psycho, Easy Rider, Smokey and the Bandit, Planes, Trains and Automobiles, and Seabiscuit to get there.

The faux scene with Burt Reynolds in Smokey and the Bandit is a standout one for Clooney, as he said the actor was his favorite “co-star.”

“I never met Burt Reynolds, but I would like to,” Clooney tells Yahoo. “Burt was the biggest star in the world in the ’70s and one of my favorite actors. There was always a sense that as an audience we were in on it with him. So I might say Burt Reynolds on this one just because I haven’t met him and I would like to.”

Hey, the admiration is mutual. Reynolds recently told Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric that if Smokey and the Bandit ever gets remade, he’d want George Clooney to play the bandit. “Well, George Clooney is my favorite actor,” said Reynolds. “But he wouldn’t do it, I don’t think. He wouldn’t have to do that. He would do what he does, but … I love his work. He has a sense of humor about himself, which the Bandit had.”

See Sofia Vergara Get Bucked Off a Bull Pool Float

The only thing you can hear the Colombian beauty say in the video — after emerging from the water — is, “No puedo” (“I can’t”). Though she added in the caption, “I have all summer,” and she also has a gorgeous pool to practice in.

Vergara, rocking a white one-piece with side cutouts later posted a cute photo of her atop the bull, but she captioned it, “Looks like I did it but I didnt.”

Vergara and the pool float is one of our favorite things from last week. On Thursday, she climbed aboard a giant flamingo float in a pretty summer dress, presumably just for the photo op (who goes in the pool in a dress?), but she had a little bit of a rocky go of it. She posted a series of photos, including one of her holding on to the float around the neck for dear life, and wrote, “Girls..this is how u graciously get on your pool bird,” with the crying emoji.

A dispute has emerged over the release of Aaron Hernandez's brain

BOSTON (Reuters) - A lawyer for former New England Patriots player Aaron Hernandez on Thursday accused the Massachusetts' medical examiner's office of reneging on a deal to turn over the athlete's brain to a Boston laboratory a day after he was found dead in his prison cell.

The 27-year-old former National Football League star hung himself early on Wednesday in the prison cell where he was serving a life sentence for the 2013 murder of an acquaintance, dying less than a week after he was cleared of a separate double-murder charge, according to state officials.

Attorney Jose Baez, who successfully defended Hernandez in his most recent trial, on Thursday said that the state's Chief Medical Examiner's Office had turned over Hernandez' remains to his family but retained his brain.

"The family should be able to have the dignity of a proper service in the proper possession of Aaron's remains," Baez told reporters after exiting the medical examiner's office.

Baez said the family wanted Hernandez's brain turned over to Boston University's CTE center, which studies chronic traumatic encephalopathy, a condition linked to the sort of repeated head hits common in football that can lead to aggression and dementia later in life.

When a Boston University representative arrived to pick up the brain for testing, they were denied possession, Baez said.

He said officials from the chief medical examiner's office told him they wanted to prepare the brain for study.

"This is not amateur hour," Baez told reporters. "I have serious questions as to their ability to conduct this study."

A Boston University spokeswoman declined comment. A spokesman for the chief medical examiner's office did not respond immediately to a request for comment.

Local media, citing unnamed law enforcement sources, reported on Thursday that Hernandez's body was found with a reference to a Bible verse written on his forehead, perhaps in blood.

Baez declined to comment on those reports saying, "I'm not going to address something so ridiculous as that."

North Korean test missile explodes on launch

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) -- A North Korean missile exploded during launch Sunday, U.S. and South Korean officials said, a high-profile failure that comes as a powerful U.S. aircraft supercarrier approaches the Korean Peninsula in a show of force.

It wasn't immediately clear what kind of missile was test-fired from the east coast city of Sinpo. But the failure will sting in Pyongyang because it comes a day after one of the biggest North Korean propaganda events of the year— celebrations of the 105th birthday of late North Korea founder Kim Il Sung, the current leader's grandfather.

The North's test firing can be seen as a message of defiance to the Trump administration in Washington, coming as it does on the day U.S. Vice President Mike Pence is set to arrive in Seoul for talks on North Korea.

President Donald Trump was uncharacteristically quiet about the failed launch. In a statement, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said Trump and his military team "are aware of North Korea's most recent unsuccessful missile launch. The president has no further comment."

Washington and Seoul will try hard to figure out what exactly North Korea fired. This matters because while North Korea regularly launches short-range missiles, it is also developing mid-range and long-range missiles meant to target U.S. troops in Asia and, eventually, the U.S. mainland.

It got me thinking about dating a stingy guy in Cyprus. Sometimes, it is not that Cyprus girls are gold digger, but that the guy is so stingy he thinks any demand for money no matter how reasonable is a sign the girl is too demanding or a gold digger.

Dating a stingy guy from what I heard the ladies say is an experience not to remember. Unfortunately, most girls in Girne and Lefke are so traumatized by the experience of dating a stingy guy they find it hard to forget.
Several girls (Names withheld) claimed the experience was not something she’d wished on her enemy. I looked at her to see if there was a naughty twinkle in her eye when she said that.
Nope. No twinkle. She was dead serious.

A student of Near East (Known as Econbi) in an interview said,  " I am proud to announce that been stingy is not a label you’d attached to me. This is not me blowing my trumpet. I get several testimonies from friends and family that it’s blasphemy to mention my name in he same sentence with stingy.

I wished there was a monetary prize for guys like us. You know, to encourage us to keep up the good work (insert smiley face!) ". 

Okay, enough of that talk. Ladies, if you don’t want to have an experience you’d not wish on your enemy by dating a stingy guy, these are the signs to look out for:

• Stingy guys know the cheapest restaurants in town (City center) instead of taking you to a classy restaurant.
• If He hates buying gifts
• If He complains about everything
• If His wardrobe is like something from last century or Mandela's Era
• If He is a penny pincher
• If He always prefers to trek instead of taking 2.75TL bus around town, and so on ....

On the other hand, there are also stingy ladys. God! they are so annoying....  For the guys, you also need to be able to identify a lady who will become stingy.

I've been dating "Anabel" for about a year. She is nice, funny and sincere. What I used to consider a quirky endearment, I now consider an annoyance. 
My girlfriend is cheap. She says she is a "frugal environmentalist."  If we get coffee at Gloria Jeans Coffee, she'll bring her own mug and take wads of napkins and sugar packets home to use later.

Some of what "SHE" is doing is commendable -- except stealing napkins and sugar from Starbucks. Where's the environmental benefit in taking paper for use at home?

Beyond your girlfriend's commitment to the environment, your account makes her sound stingy, unpleasant and intractable.
Couples thrive when each person adopts the other's more attractive qualities and accepts the other's input in toning down annoying quirks.
Because she thinks of her less attractive characteristics as being those of a frugal environmentalist, she is not likely to change. She seems to think she's saving the planet by being exactly as she is.
However, you should demonstrate that you're capable of adopting some of your girlfriend's practices -- in return you should see if she is capable of being generous.

Unsurprisingly, she has had to learn to do basic tasks again. On relearning to write, the teen said, “My nails are too long to hold a pen properly now. After one hour of writing, my hands really hurt. On the computer, I have to type using my knuckles.”

She also has to be careful getting dressed and using the bathroom and is unable to participate in gym class.

So how does Simone ensure zero breakages?

She follows a strict nail-care regime consisting of two coats of nail hardener every day and cuticle oil every other day.

“I hope I can inspire people, not only to grow their nails but also to keep doing their thing, even though not everyone might like it,” the teen says.

An 11-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped cried out "Help me" .....

WASHINGTON (AP) — An 11-year-old girl who was allegedly kidnapped from North Carolina cried out "Help me" when police officers in the U.S. capital found her wedged between the driver's and front passenger's seat after the car she was in crashed, court documents showed.

The documents were released late Monday. They describe the police pursuit Sunday of the car allegedly driven by 36-year-old Curtis Atkinson Jr. of Charlotte, North Carolina. Atkinson is the uncle of 11-year-old girl Arieyana Forney. He is charged with killing his parents, who were Arieyana's grandparents and guardians, in North Carolina.

Police describe Atkinson leading them on a chase, which ended when the car rear-ended another vehicle in Washington.

Officers say the force of the collision was so great that the child, two adults and a dog were all thrown to the front seat.

Court documents made available Monday said that an officer who chased the vehicle in Washington was told that the occupants of the vehicle "had a handgun and they were not scared to hurt the kidnapped child in the vehicle."

Arieyana was taken to a hospital for evaluation.

Atkinson's first cousin Nina Chandler told The Associated Press that family members also don't know why Atkinson was found with his Arieyana, his late brother's daughter, after fleeing the North Carolina home where Atkinson's parents were found dead Sunday.

In a telephone interview, Chandler said that Atkinson and his parents shared an enthusiasm for football and basketball, attending NFL games of the Carolina Panthers and Charlotte's former NBA team, the Hornets.

"They loved their boys. And Curtis Jr. loved his dad," said Chandler, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland. "We can't get our hands on it. We don't know what went wrong."

In court documents filed Monday ahead of the planned court appearance, authorities said Atkinson Jr. was charged in North Carolina with homicide.

Police in North Carolina had said earlier that they planned to seek charges against Atkinson in the deaths of his parents, Ruby Atkinson, 62, and Curtis Atkinson Sr., 63.

Nikkia Cooper, 25, the third person in the car stopped Sunday, is also facing charges. Court records released Monday in Washington identified her as Nakkia Cooper and said she was wanted in North Carolina for kidnapping. She also faces a drug charge in Washington.

Both Atkinson Jr. and Cooper appeared in court Monday and are being held in jail.

The court documents said authorities intend to extradite Atkinson Jr. and Cooper to North Carolina.

Arieyana's grandparents became her guardians after her father, 29-year-old Micah Atkinson, was killed in a still-unsolved slaying in 2013, Chandler said.

Curtis Atkinson Jr. has a criminal record including convictions for drug dealing and possessing stolen goods dating to 1999, according to state prison records. He served 11 months in prison before being released in 2011, those records show.
