The Weeknd could have a big weekend at the Billboard Music Awards.

The Canadian hit maker is a finalist 19 times in 16 categories. Justin Bieber follows The Weeknd; he's a finalist 12 times, in 11 categories. Drake and Fetty Wap are both finalists 11 times, in 10 categories. Taylor Swift and Adele are both finalists for eight awards.

Ludacris and Ciara will host the 2016 Billboard Music Awards at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on May 22.

Billboard Music Awards finalists are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital songs sales, radio airplay, streaming, touring and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music. These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on the reporting period of tracking dates March 23, 2015, through March 17, 2016, and Billboard chart dates April 11, 2015 through April 2, 2016. MISS AFRICA BEAUTY PAGEANT HOLDS 2ND MAY 2016 IN CYPRUS

Ciuconnect received an email from the Student Association of Eastern Mediterranean University Cyprus. They wrote to officially inform us and the general public about a big event (All African Students Grand Award) coming up in May 2016.
According to Mr Fredrick Edeh, NSS-EMU PRO, There will be a Beauty Pageant (Miss Africa TRNC), during the ASGA Event, the contest will be conducted and the Winner will be crowned the Queen of all Africans in North Cyprus, tasked with various responsibilities.
To qualify for this contest, each participating university shall conduct her beauty contest in their respective schools and crown as a university queen.  The winners from the six participating universities will finally contest in Famagusta for the Miss Africa Beauty Crown.
This is awesome!

All African countries includes: Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Zambia, Kenya, Libya, Morocco,  Gambia, Togo, Congo, South Africa, Burundi, Namibia, Uganda, Cameroon, Ghana, Benin Republic, Liberia, Sudan, Egypt, Etc...

1. Cyprus International University.
2. Eastern Mediterranean University
3. Near East University
4. Girne American University
5. European University of Lefke
6. Middle East Technical University

Lopez new singles ... check it out!!

Jennifer Lopez is back with a brand new single. Called “Ain’t Your Mama,” Lopez teased the track during a Facebook Live video to promote the final episodes of American Idol. It’s the first single she’ll release through Epic Records.

Asked by a fan what her performance on American Idol this week will entail, Lopez said to expect some high energy levels, before playing a preview of the new track. “I ain’t going cook all day, I ain’t your mama,” Lopez sings on the song. “I ain’t going to do your laundry, I ain’t your mama. Boy, I ain’t your mama.”

Fans will be able to download the track on April 7 following the American Idol finale.
